Trinity Opens SCAC Play With Sweep

Colorado Springs, Colorado - Trinity's volleyball team began its quest for a 10th straight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship with a 3-0 sweep of Millsaps College on Friday night.

Trinity (9-1, 1-0) won 30-15, 30-14, and 30-27 in the match, opening up the SCAC Central-West Tournament.

Megan Dudley led the Tigers with 11 kills, while Caroline Keener finished with 26 assists.

Sara Buros recorded three service aces, while Joni Jacobi had 12 digs.  Ginger Haley and Aly Hazelwood both earned three blocks in the match.

Trinity will face Hendrix College later today, then will conclude the tournament tomorrow with matches against Rhodes and Austin.
