Trinity Sweeps Hendrix to Open Weekend

Memphis, Tennessee - The Tiger volleyball team swept Hendrix College 3-0 to open a weekend of SCAC play.

Trinity (18-1, 9-0) won 30-17, 30-21, and 30-16 to secure the team's 15th straight victory on Saturday afternoon.

AVCA All-American Sara Buros led the Tigers with eight kills in the match, while Caiti Troyer finished with a team-best 21 assists.

Joni Jacobi, Caroline Keener, and Aly Hazelwood all tied for the team lead with six digs, and Hazelwood also paced the team with six blocks.

Emily Hilliard recorded four service aces to lead the team.
