Trinity Finishes Thursday's Action With a Sweep

San Antonio - Trinity's volleyball team finished off a three-team night of matches with a 3-0 sweep over Huston-Tillotson University on Thursday night.

Trinity (28-1) won 30-8, 30-14, and 30-16 in the match, and hit over .400 for the three games.

Alexis Edwards led the Tigers to victory, posting team-highs with 13 kills and three aces.  Edwards also chipped in with five digs, and recorded a .524 hitting percentage.  Ginger Haley also had three aces in the match. 

Megan Guest finished with seven digs to lead the team, while Emily Hilliard had six digs and five kills in just two games.

Caiti Troyer finished with 28 assists, while Leslie Schornack led the way with three blocks.
