All-Region Teams
Scholbe and Prato Matthews Earn All-South Region
Honors
Senior Meghan Scholbe and junior Krista
Prato Matthews were both named to the
D3hoops.com All-South Region teams, following
their outstanding seasons for the Tiger women's
basketball team. Scholbe was named to the
Second Team, while Prato Matthews earned Third
Team honors.

Tigers Fall
Short in First Round Playoff Game on Wednesday
Trinity fell 67-71 to McMurry in the first round of the NCAA playoffs.
The Tigers cut the lead to two points twice in
the final minute, but McMurry made two free
throws with four seconds left to seal the win.
Meghan Scholbe and Krista Prato Matthews both
finished with double-doubles in the game.

Playoffs
After a 20-6 season, the
Trinity women's basketball team received an
at-large (Pool C) bid to the NCAA Playoffs.
Brackets will be released tomorrow.

Tonight
Trinity women's basketball's
head coach Amie Bradley will be featured on
Division III basketball's weekly talk show
tonight. Coach Bradley's segment should
air around 6:45 p.m (central time), and will
give her the chance to talk about Tiger women's
basketball.

SCAC Release
Three Tiger
Women's Basketball Players Earn All-SCAC Honors
Trinity's women's basketball
team had three players earn All-SCAC honors,
announced by the SCAC Office Saturday night.
Krista Prato Matthews and Meghan Scholbe were
both named to the All-SCAC First Team, while
Tierney Hughes earned Honorable Mention.

Game Story
Tigers Edged
by Oglethorpe in SCAC Semifinals Saturday Night
The Trinity women's
basketball team lost a 70-73 game to Oglethorpe
University on Saturday night, ending its run for
the SCAC title. The Tigers came back from
a double-digit lead in the second half, but fell
just short of the win. The team will find
out if its season will continue when NCAA
Playoff selections are announced on Monday
morning.

Defeats Sewanee in Opening Round of SCAC
Tournament
Trinity's women's basketball
team won an 80-61 game over the University of
the South-Sewanee in the opening round of the
SCAC Tournament on Friday night. Krista
Prato Matthews led the team with 26 points,
while Meghan Scholbe finished with 14 points and
13 rebounds.
