Game Notes - Jan. 17

Trinity Women's Basketball @ Rhodes

Trinity defeated Birmingham-Southern on Friday night to open up a weekend of play in the SCAC.  The Tigers won for the fourth consecutive time and remain unbeaten atop the SCAC West Division standings.

Krista Prato Matthews led the team with 17 points and 14 rebounds, edging closer to a pair of milestones.  She now needs just eight more points to move into fifth place in career scoring at Trinity and is just two rebounds from becoming only the second player in school history to reach 900 in a career.

Prato Matthews is already the SCAC's leading rebounder with her 898 boards so far in her career with Trinity.  She is only the fourth player in SCAC history to reach 800 or more career rebounds.

Hubenak is now 16th in Trinity history in career assists, despite playing in just her second season with the Tigers.

Last season against Rhodes, the Tigers were led by 21 points and 12 rebounds from Prato Matthews.  She hit 10-19 from the field and added three blocks and three steals.  Hubenak handed out four assists and grabbed eight rebounds in the game.
