Irving, Texas - Trinity's women's basketball team capped a road weekend with a 72-66 victory over the University of Dallas on Saturday night.

Trinity (15-7) opened the game with a 22-9 run on its way to a 35-23 halftime advantage.  Dallas was able to cut the lead to just five points with 5:57 to play, but the Tigers never let them get any closer - despite scoring just three points over the final 4:37 of the game.

The Tigers held Dallas to just 31% shooting in the first half, but the Crusaders shot an impressive 57.7% in the second half.  Trinity, however, shot even better than that, hitting 60.9% from the floor.
