Graduate Assistant Coach
Lauren Andrews

Lauren Andrews begins her first season on the bench for the Tiger women's basketball team, following a stellar playing career at Trinity.

Andrews was the floor leader and ran the point guard position for two seasons, after beginning her career with the University of Michigan.  She transferred to Trinity to play both soccer and basketball in 2004.

Andrews was an All-SCAC and All-Region performer for the women's soccer team during her first semester, then picked up with the basketball team where she was again named All-SCAC - leading the team to the NCAA Sweet 16.

She missed the 2005-06 campaign in both sports after suffering an injury early in the soccer season; however, she came back for her senior season to be named All-SCAC in both soccer and basketball.  She helped lead the soccer team to a # 1 national ranking during the year, as well as setting two new records in basketball.

Andrews became Trinity's all-time assists leader during the season, and also broke the school and SCAC record with a 12-assist game in last year's conference tournament.

She is a native of Houston, Texas, attending Klein Forest High School.  Andrews will be involved with recruiting, film exchange, and fundraising for the Tigers in 2006-07.  She will also work with the point guards.

Andrews is in Trinity's Masters of Accounting program, and is scheduled to graduate in May.  She was hired as an intern with Pricewaterhouse Cooper in Houston, and hopes to join the firm full-time after graduation.
