Tigers Blank Rhodes to Open Final Weekend of Regular Season
Trinity's women's soccer team secured its 11th shutout of the season with a 2-0 win over Rhodes College on Friday night.  The Tigers got goals from both Dana Carter and Brianna Young - who scored for the 11th straight game.

Abigail Loar Named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week
Trinity's Abigail Loar has been named the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week after the Tigers clinched the SCAC Championship with a pair of SCAC wins.  Loar scored five goals in two games, including her first career hat trick.

The Tiger women's soccer team had three players earn spots on the CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Teams.  Alex Leamy and Danika Wright were selected to the First Team, while Brianna Young earned Second Team honors.

Women's Soccer Clinches SCAC Title With Win Over Sewanee
The Trinity women's soccer team clinched the 2009 SCAC Championship with a 6-1 win over Sewanee: University of the South on Sunday afternoon.  Abigail Loar scored two goals in the win, while Brianna Young nailed her sixth game-winning goal of the year - scoring a goal for the 10th consecutive game.

Trinity Shines in Shutout Win Over Oglethorpe
The Tiger women's soccer team, ranked third nationally, opened up a road weekend of conference play with an 8-0 win over Oglethorpe University on Friday afternoon.  Kelly Watts tied a school record with four assists, while Abigail Loar had Trinity's first hat trick since 2007.  Brianna Young had two goals and three assists, scoring a goal for the ninth straight game.

Monday's Women's Soccer Game at UMHB Cancelled
Trinity's Monday afternoon game against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor has been cancelled due to bad weather in Central Texas.  The game will not be rescheduled.  The Tigers will resume action this weekend against Oglethorpe and Sewanee.

Trinity's fourth-ranked women's soccer team produced its ninth shutout of the season on Friday evening, defeating Southwestern University 4-0.  Lindsay Euers scored the eventual game-winner, while Dana Carter had a pair of assists.

The Tiger women's soccer team will open up the 2009 season by hosting Texas Lutheran University at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.  The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in Seguin, Texas, but the teams agreed to move the game to Trinity.
