Tiger Soccer Teams to Face Austin College in Denison

San Antonio - The Trinity University Tigers soccer teams open their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference campaigns on Friday against the Austin College Kangaroos in Denison.

The games have been moved from Sherman to Munson Stadium in Denison -  a facility of the Denison Independent School District – because of weather conditions.

The men’s game starts at 2 p.m. and the women’s at 4 p.m.

Trinity’s men (4-1-0), the defending SCAC champions, are ranked No. 12 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III poll, and by d3soccer.com.

The Tiger women (4-0-0), who have not yielded a goal this season, hold a No. 10 ranking by the NSCAA and are sixth by d3soccer.com.

Austin College’s men stand at 0-3-0 and the women are 4-1-0.
