Trinity Defeats DePauw to Remain Unbeaten in SCAC Play

San Antonio - Trinity's women's soccer team won a 2-0 decision over DePauw University on Friday night, keeping its SCAC record unblemished through five games.

Trinity (10-3-0, 5-0-0) scored once in each period on Friday, out-shooting DePauw 20-3 overall in the game.

Jennifer Wray picked up a goal and an assist in the game, including the game-winning goal in the 40th minute of action.  Wray's goal was assisted by Grace Rizza, and gave Trinity a lift heading into halftime.

First-year Danika Wright scored her second goal of the season in the 80th minute on Friday, converting a corner kick from Wray.

Jennifer Fifield recorded her third shutout of the season, securing the sixth game of the year in which Trinity has not allowed a goal.

Trinity improves to 21-2 over the last four seasons whenever Wray scores a goal.  The Tigers will host Centre College on Sunday afternoon, finishing off a weekend of SCAC action.
