Five
Players to Compete at Singles and Doubles
Championships
Trinity's men's and women's tennis teams will
send five players to next weekend's NCAA Singles
and Doubles Championships tournaments. The
men will travel to Bates College, while the
women compete at Gustavus Adolphus College.
Both tournaments are May 16-18.

Playoffs in Loss to Fourth-Ranked Emory
Trinity's women's tennis team was blanked 5-0 in
the regional finals on Sunday afternoon by Emory
University - the fourth-ranked team in Division
III. The Tigers are eliminated from the
postseason with the loss.

Women's Tennis Defeats
Sewanee to Advance to Regional Final
Trinity's women's tennis team earned a 5-3 win
at the University of the South-Sewanee on
Saturday afternoon. Trinity won two of the
three doubles matches, then Megan Jackson's
three-set win at No. 6 singles clinched the
victory.

Earns At-Large Bid to Postseason
Trinity's women's tennis team was selected for
the NCAA Playoffs on Sunday evening, earning one
of nine at-large bids to the postseason.
The full bracket and matchups will be released
tomorrow.

seed, defeated third-seed Sewanee 5-4 in the
SCAC Semifinals on Saturday afternoon, advancing
to the SCAC Championships match tomorrow
morning. Trinity will face hosting DePauw
for the SCAC title tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.

The Tiger women's tennis team, seeded
second at the SCAC Championships, defeated
Centre College 9-0 on Friday afternoon.
Trinity will face No. 3 seed Sewanee in the SCAC
Semifinals tomorrow at noon.

Finales
Trinity's women's tennis team defeated a
pair of SCAC schools to close out the regular
season on Saturday afternoon, beating Colorado
College 7-2 before sweeping Austin College 9-0.

The Tiger women's tennis team defeated
Southwestern University 8-1 on Friday afternoon,
opening the regular season's final weekend.
Trinity, ranked 18th in the nation, will face

University of Texas-Tyler 8-1 to open up a
Saturday afternoon doubleheader on the road.
Tyler Junior College forced Trinity to split for
the day, though, winning 6-3 later in the
afternoon.

Megan Jackson clinched the match with a win at
No. 6 singles, giving Trinity a 5-3 lead.
