Pomona, California -
The Tiger women's tennis team lost its second match of the weekend
on Sunday afternoon, falling in an 8-1 decision at Pomona-Pitzer
College.
Trinity (6-4) scored its
only win of the day at No. 6 singles when Megan Jackson won 6-3,
6-0. The Tigers were swept in doubles, and lost two three-set
matches in singles as well.
Jackson, a first-year from
Katy, Texas, did not play in singles in yesterday's loss to the
University of Redlands.
Trinity returns home on
Wednesday, March 26, hosting Birmingham-Southern College. The
Tigers will then travel to Washington & Lee University for the Fab
Five Women's Tennis Tournament. Trinity will face Williams,
Claremont, and Emory over the weekend.
