Trinity's women's tennis team lost a 6-3 decision to the University
of Redlands on Saturday afternoon.
Trinity (6-3) won just one
doubles match and two of the six singles matches on the day.
Alicia Hunt and Laura
Steinmetz teamed up for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles, then both
individuals earned singles wins as well.
While Hunt won 6-4, 6-0 at
the top singles position, Steinmetz won 6-4, 6-7, 7-5 in a tough
match at No. 2 singles.
The Tigers will take on
Pomona-Pitzer tomorrow afternoon to finish off the weekend road trip
in California. The team returns home on Wednesday, March 26,
to face Birmingham-Southern College.
