University Tigers senior defensive back
Evan Reville has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
Reville, from Oklahoma City (Casady),
recorded five tackles (three solo) and a fumble recovery in Trinity’s
22-21 win over Texas Lutheran last Saturday in Seguin.
For the two games this season,
Reville has chalked up 15 tackles (eight solo), two pass breakups, one
fumble recovery and a forced fumble.
Earlier this week, first-year kicker
Garrett Biel of Clayton, Calif. (Joshua), was named the Southern
Collegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. The
5-foot-8, 164-pound Biel booted a 34-yard-field goal as time expired in
the Tigers victory. Biel kicked a school-record-tying three field goals
(on three attempts) for the Tigers.
Trinity, led by head coach Steve
Mohr, stands at 2-0 and will take on Rhodes College (2-0) in an
SCAC opener at 1 p.m. Saturday in Memphis, Tenn. Visit Trinity’s
