The Tiger men's tennis team was unable to hold
on to a 4-1 lead in the NCAA Playoffs, losing to
hosting Mary Washington in the regional finals
on Sunday afternoon.

the regional finals on Sunday afternoon by Emory
University - the fourth-ranked team in Division
III. The Tigers are eliminated from the
postseason with the loss.

Women's Tennis Defeats
Sewanee to Advance to Regional Final
Trinity's women's tennis team earned a 5-3 win
at the University of the South-Sewanee on
Saturday afternoon. Trinity won two of the
three doubles matches, then Megan Jackson's
three-set win at No. 6 singles clinched the
victory.

Stevens Institute in Regional Semifinals
Trinity's men's tennis team earned a 5-0 win
over Stevens Institute at the NCAA Regional
Semifinals on Saturday morning at the University
of Mary Washington. The Tigers will face
either Mary Washington or Washington & Lee in
tomorrow's regional final.

Trinity Women Receive
First-Round Bye in NCAA Playoffs
The Tiger women's tennis team has received a
first-round bye in the NCAA Playoffs, and will
face the winner of hosting Sewanee and Principia
on Saturday morning in Sewanee, Tennessee.
Trinity finished second in the SCAC
Championships last weekend, including a 5-4 win
over Sewanee.

Men's Tennis Earns
Playoff Bid and Top Seed at Regionals
Trinity's men's tennis team earned an at-large
bid to the NCAA Playoffs on Sunday evening, and
will be the top seed for the opening weekend of
play. The Tigers are the top seed and will
receive a bye for the first of three rounds to
be played at the University of Mary Washington.

Earns At-Large Bid to Postseason
Trinity's women's tennis team was selected for
the NCAA Playoffs on Sunday evening, earning one
of nine at-large bids to the postseason.
The full bracket and matchups will be released
tomorrow.

Trinity Baseball Scores Four in the Ninth to Win SCAC Title
The Tigers were down to their final strike before Stosh Hoover drove in two runs with a single to right center in the bottom of the ninth. Trinity was down 5-2 to begin the inning, but advanced to the NCAA playoffs with four runs and four hits.

Men's Team Finishes 2nd and Women 5th at SCAC
Tournament
The Tiger men's golf team captured second
place at the SCAC Championships, coming in
behind the No. 2 team in Division III,
Oglethorpe University. Trinity finished
ahead of nationally-ranked Rhodes and Centre in
the tournament. The Tiger women's team was
fifth in its SCAC Championship tournament.

The Tiger
softball team opened its part of the SCAC
Tournament with three runs in the first inning,
but Millsaps scored eight unanswered to take an
8-3 win on Friday night. Kate Wright
(12-1) suffered her first loss of the season,
and Trinity was held to just four total hits
offensively.
