Trinity fields some of the most competitive teams in the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). Trinity has won 10 of the past 11 SCAC President's Cup Trophies, awarded to the conference's best overall sports program. Four teams have won D-III National Championships, including men's soccer (2003), women's basketball (2002-03), men's tennis (2000), and women's tennis (2000).  The 1972 men's tennis team also won the Division I national title.
