- Trinity sophomore
forward Abigail Loar scored a goal in the 99th minute as the Tigers
beat the Hardin-Simmons Cowgirls 1-0 in overtime Saturday in a
non-conference game. Loar,
who scored her second goal in as many games, had an assist from
sophomore forward Kelly Watts, with 1:47 remaining in the first
overtime period. Watts delivered a cross header to Loar – the 2008

the Tigers remained undefeated at 2-0-0. Loar took four shots, all

Lance Key now holds a record of 4-3-2 against the Cowgirls.

24-7 and held a 15-3 advantage in shots on goal. Tiger first-year
goalkeeper Katie Garrett registered three saves and Hardin-Simmons
senior Christi Carr had 12.
The Tigers led 5-3 in corner
