Text Box: A degree in General Business Administration can prepare one for a wide range of potential occupations.  Because the degree is “general” in nature it will require some advanced career planning to effectively begin a career after graduation.  Students should evaluate their interests in terms of what job functions are attractive and gather information about those occupations which best fit interests.
Gathering information about industries of interest can also be useful.  Once the information gathering phase is underway, it is very important that students in any “general” degree program get specific work experience in areas of interest.
