Services for Students

Our dedicated staff of counselors provide guidance and encouragement for students as they develop skills to manage a lifetime of career exploration and transition. We work with students at all levels to effectively manage their career development and implement their career plans. Through individual appointments, our staff provides guidance for the development of an effective strategy for admission to graduate/professional school or success in a job search campaign. The Center offers a series of workshops and online guides including résumé and cover letter development, interviews, networking, and job search planning. The Career Center also sponsors an active campus recruiting and job referral program which includes full-time positions, internship opportunities, part-time and summer jobs.

To effectively use the services of the office, students should meet with a career counselor early in their college career to develop strategies for success.  As a benefit of online registration with TigerJobs, students are made aware of events through a weekly newsletter and are able to view job opportunities with employers.
