Identifying a Suspicious Package
If packages coming into the building have any of the following characteristics, they are considered suspicious. Please isolate any package with these characteristics and notify the Mail Center manager at extension 7259 or Campus Safety at extension 7070.
- Excessive postage
- Misspelled word
- Addressed to title only
- Rigid or bulky
- Badly typed or written
- Fictitious, unfamiliar or no return address
- Strange odor
- Lopsided
- Oily stains
- Wrong Title with name
- Protruding wires
- Powdery substance on outside
