Type of Service	The AFHS Meetup Group supports Animal Friends Humane Society through organized volunteer activities, as well as encouraging adoption in the community and supporting dog owners. Exercise and socialize dogs and cats to help them get ready for adoption, encourage prospective pet owners to adopt from local shelters, and provide a network of support for pet owners.

Type of Service	Provides support to the advocacy manager and interns on all advocacy activities including grass roots organizing, voter registration, letter writing campaigns, media monitoring, outreach opportunities, phone banking, campaign implementation, e-newsletter, e-book club, and other advocacy activities.

Type of Service	Recruits and motivates VOX (Voices for Planned Parenthood) members. Raises awareness on campus on the issues of family planning, sexual health care and reproductive rights through a variety of events including but not limited to tabling.

Type of Service	Provides direct advocacy education and outreach to clients at the Planned Parenthood clinics in San Antonio, Alice and Kingsville on current and emerging public affair issues related to family planning and reproductive health care. Volunteers will empower clients to become active and influence public policy relating to women’s health care.
