The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a three-year, renewable, non-tenure track instructor. Candidates must be able to teach both lecture and associated laboratory classes in general chemistry and one other chemical subdiscipline (area open). The instructor also has supervisory responsibilities for all sections of the general chemistry and first-semester organic laboratories and will be involved in curricular development. We offer opportunities for collaborative research. Outstanding teaching ability and enthusiasm for teaching at a highly selective, undergraduate institution are essential. Some teaching experience is desirable and a Ph.D. is required.
