Jenny McBride is an adjunct professor for 2009-10. Her scholarly interests include Greek historiography and oratory, ancient ethnographic theory, and Atthidography. She will be presenting part of her research for her dissertation ('An empire of good': Thematics of Hegemony and Naval Power in Isocrates' Panegyricus," under supervision at Columbia University), at this year's meeting of the American Philological Association.

Prof. McBride currently teaches History 1310: Greece and Rome, and has taught prior classes on Herodotus, Ancient Historiography, and Ancient as well as Biblical Greek.
