Murchison Hall

Murchison Hall has traditionally been one of the more popular residence halls due to its proximity to upper campus and the Coates University Center. In 1997-1998, however, due to the large size of the incoming first-year class, some first-year students also took up residency in Murchison. In 1998-1999 Murchison will be primarily a first-year hall, instead of the traditional location for additional first-year students in McLean Hall. The Murchison Lounge is a terrific alternative studying environment and lies in the middle of this two-story building.
