Myrtle Hall

Myrtle McFarlin Hall is an upperclass hall that is adjacent to Isabel and Susanna Halls and is situated above the Elizabeth Rhea Health Services Center. The first floor is reserved for men and the second and third floors are reserved for women. Its central location to upper campus is an added bonus to living in the McFarlin complex. Myrtle Hall is also known for its large rooms and traditionally quiet atmosphere.

Myrtle Hall amenities include:
  • Vending machines located in nearby Heidi Lounge,
  • A second floor lounge area adjacent to the Resident Assistant's room, equipped with a microwave and a small kitchen area,
  • Laundry rooms located on the first and third floors,
  • Easy access to Heidi Lounge, a large study and break area,
  • Balconies shared with suitemates,
  • A shaded view of the downtown San Antonio skyline.

Myrtle rooms feature:
  • Cream-white brick walls with large windows and deep, blue carpet,
  • Built-in desks with two small drawers, one large drawer, and two shelves above,
  • Built-in closets with sliding doors. A hanging rod spans half of the closet while the other half his equipped with shelves. It is recommended that closet organizers be brought.

Myrtle bathrooms feature:
  • Partitioned areas for the shower and toilet,
  • One drawer per resident and cabinet space beneath each sink.
