South Hall is an upperclass hall located at the west end of campus. Of the three floors the first is co-ed by suite, the second floor is reserved for women and the third floor houses men. South also has access to the North/South Foyer. The Foyer is divided into a study lounge and a game room. The game room has a microwave, Cable TV, Ping-Pong table, foose ball table, and two pool tables, as well as vending machines and an ice machine. The rooms that face the football field on the first floor were originally designed to house three people, but now are priced slightly higher than the normal rooms and accomodate two students in each room.

• South Hall is a "wet" hall, meaning that residents over the age of 21 may possess and consume beer or wine in their rooms.
  
  

• First floor rooms with moveable desks. These desks have two drawers--one shallow and one deep. There are also three shelves affixed to one wall,
• Built-in desks on the second and third floors that have three adjustable shelves above them,
• Built-in wardrobes with sliding doors and one five-drawer dresser per resident. The closet also has two hanging rods,
• "Sunny-side" rooms have nice view of Downtown San Antonio and the football field,
• On the first floor facing the football field, there is a large community balcony. On the second and third floors, balconies are shared with the suitemates. There are no balconies, for those rooms that face North Hall (inner courtyard).
  
  

• Partitioned areas for the toilet and the shower.
• Storage space under the sink that includes a drawer and cabinet per resident.
