Staff Psychologist Richard ReemsServices

As the Counseling Services specialist for concerns related to alcohol and other drugs (AOD), I take a respectful and collaborative approach to working with any individual or group.  I am not a law enforcement officer, so my focus is not on what is legal or illegal.  Rather, my goals are to

The services I provide most often include:

  • Consulting with individual students about their AOD use.  The information a student discloses during an appointment, even if it is about illegal behavior, remains confidential as required by law.
  • Advising friends who are concerned about the AOD use of another person
  • Providing AOD information that is as accurate and unbiased as possible
  • Surveying Trinity students regarding their AOD-related behaviors (in collaboration with statistician Dr. Diane Saphire and student advisors)
  • Providing referrals to treatment providers in the community.

I welcome the opportunity to be of assistance!  Call me at 999-7411.
