Disability Services for Students

Grievance and Harassment Procedures

There are two federal laws which protect Trinity University students with disabilities from discrimination: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. These laws function together to provide both physical and programmatic access to Trinity University classes and events. Trinity University is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals. The Coordinator of Disability Services for Students will generally investigate informal ADA complaints and assist, as requested by the ADA Compliance Officer, in handling formal complaints. The following grievance procedures are in place to assist students should they encounter problems receiving accommodations at Trinity University.

Informal Grievance Complaint

The Coordinator of Disability Services for Students will attempt to resolve informal complaints through discussion or mediation between the student and faculty or staff member involved.
