Matt Pepping wanted two things from a university — the best
possible preparation for law school and a chance to play soccer on a very
competitive team. He found both — and excelled at both — at Trinity. Following
Trinity’s pre-law track, Matt double-majored in business administration and
political science, making the Dean’s List every semester. As starting
goalkeeper on the undefeated 2003 Men’s National Championship Soccer Team, Matt
allowed only seven goals, while his teammates scored 107. Most students would
find pursuing a challenging double major and competing on an elite soccer team
demanding enough, but that was just the beginning of Matt’s contribution to the
greater Trinity “team.” He joined the First Year Leadership Council, serving as
his classmates’ liaison with the student senate. He was a resident assistant
and a Trinity Ambassador. He also helped found Trinity’s Habitat for Humanity
chapter and established a sexual assault prevention task force. |
