Trinity University has announced that Dream. Inspire. Achieve. The Campaign for Trinity University has concluded with a final fund raising total of $205,953,000. The final total, which exceeds the comprehensive campaign’s initial goal by nearly $6 million, was made public Thursday, Sept. 24, during the President’s Dinner, a gala honoring major benefactors of the University and celebrating the successful conclusion of the Campaign, the largest campaign from private sources in the South Texas region. more>>

 


Trinity University Receives $1 Million Gift to Support Environmental Studies

Trinity University has received a $1 million gift that will support its Environmental Studies program. Part of the University’s comprehensive Campaign – Dream. Inspire. Achieve. The Campaign for Trinity University – the gift was made anonymously, and it is intended to provide scholarships and research stipends for students who want to protect and improve the local, regional, and global environment. more>>


Trinity University Surpasses $200 Million Capital Campaign Goal

Trinity University’s unprecedented goal of raising $200 million to enhance programs and invest in students and faculty has not only been reached but exceeded. The comprehensive campaign – Dream. Inspire. Achieve. The Campaign for Trinity University – is entering its final month with an Aug. 26 celebration that features an all-campus picnic and welcoming ceremonies for the Class of 2013. Trinity University announced that $202.2 million in gifts and pledges has been received so far in the University’s most ambitious and successful fund drives in its history. The Campaign for Trinity University, which supports Trinity’s core strengths – talented students, committed faculty, innovative programs, and a superior living and learning environment – has surpassed its initial goal of $200 million, but campaign organizers say it’s still ongoing. more>>

Trinity Alumni have contributed 20 percent to the campaign.

Dream. Inspire. Achieve. The Campaign for Trinity University has reached $183.3 million in gifts and pledges, 20 percent of these gifts are from Trinity alumni.  The campaign has now reached 92 percent of its $200 million goal. more>>

Major gifts to Trinity’s capital campaign Dream. Inspire. Achieve. will have a profound impact on Trinity’s East Asian Studies program. EAST (East Asian Studies at Trinity) will soon have two new faculty positions to bring additional expertise in Chinese language and literature and business, enabling Trinity to expand its curricular offerings in East Asian studies. more>>

$1.1 million gift establishes the Hornbeak Scholars in Health Care

September 2007 — A $1.1 million gift from Methodist Healthcare Ministries to The Campaign for Trinity University will have a big impact on future health care graduate students – and pushes the amount of gifts and pledges raised toward the campaign to $141.3 million. With a Campaign goal of $200 million, the majority of funds will be directed toward scholarships and financial aid. “This strategic gift will advance the Ministries’ commitment to promoting leadership in health care by providing financial assistance to deserving students,” said Trinity president John R. Campaign Launches Health Care Initiative, Serves Up Tennis Pavilion

June 2007 — The Campaign for Trinity University reached the two-thirds mark in May as a new total of $135.8 million in gifts and pledges was announced by the Campaign Steering Committee. Also launched this month under the umbrella of the Campaign, was a $3 million fundraising initiative to enhance Trinity’s Health Care Administration program. more>>


Groundbreaking for Mabry Pavilion

May 2007 — There was a family reunion May 12 at the Delavan Tennis Stadium. At least, it had the atmosphere of a family reunion as members of the Trinity community assembled for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Clarence Mabry Pavilion at Delavan Tennis Stadium. more>>


Ruth McLean Bowman Bowers Foundation Makes Gift to Establish Women’s Studies Center at Trinity University

March 2007 — The Ruth McLean Bowman Bowers Foundation has made a $500,000 gift to Trinity University to establish the Ruth McLean Bowman Bowers Women’s Studies Resource Center at the University. John R. Brazil, Trinity’s president, announced the gift March 1 during the Women’s History Month annual luncheon held on campus. more>>
