$1.1 million gift establishes the Hornbeak Scholars in Health Care
September 2007 — A $1.1 million gift from Methodist Healthcare Ministries to The Campaign for Trinity University will have a big impact on future health care graduate students – and pushes the amount of gifts and pledges raised toward the campaign to $141.3 million. With a Campaign goal of $200 million, the majority of funds will be directed toward scholarships and financial aid. “This strategic gift will advance the Ministries’ commitment to promoting leadership in health care by providing financial assistance to deserving students,” said Trinity president John R. June 2007 — The Campaign for Trinity University reached the two-thirds mark in May as a new total of $135.8 million in gifts and pledges was announced by the Campaign Steering Committee. Ruth McLean Bowman Bowers Foundation Makes Gift to Establish Women’s Studies Center at Trinity University
March 2007 — The Ruth McLean Bowman Bowers Foundation has made a $500,000 gift to Trinity University to establish the Ruth McLean Bowman Bowers Women’s Studies Resource Center at the University. John R. Brazil, Trinity’s president, announced the gift March 1 during the Women’s History Month annual luncheon held on campus. more>>
