A talented high school student in her native India, Rashna Patel ’05 made developing her leadership skills one of her goals for college. Trinity gave her ample opportunity. While excelling as a Speech Communications major and taking all the International Studies courses she could, Rashna served as president of the International Club, vice president of the Asian Sub-Continental Association, and head delegate for Trinity’s Model UN team. She also served as a program counselor for the TIGER Council, a publicity crew member for KRTU-FM, a member of the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law society, a student worker in Trinity’s IT department, and a weekly volunteer at The Animal Shelter. “It just goes to show how much Trinity offers and what you can make of it.” She’s currently planning her next trip abroad. “I’ve been to 15 countries and I plan to keep going.” |
