The mission of the
Trinity University National Phonathon is to connect alumni and parents
with today’s Trinity students and to help raise financial support for
the Annual Fund.
The Phonathon consists of
40 – 50 students who contact over 14,000 alumni and parents from Mabee
Dining Hall to update your contact information, provide you information of
recent happenings around campus and talk about Trinity life, and request
financial support for the Trinity University Annual Fund. In addition,
Alumni are able to send a FacultyGram to keep in touch with a favorite
professor, while parents are able to send their child a TigerGram with a
note of encouragement or just to say hello!

Funds raised for the
Annual Fund help Trinity immediately. These dollars are available to
areas with the greatest need, such as scholarships and financial aid,
providing new technology, campus renovations, strengthening curriculum
for cross-disciplinary teaching and training, continuing strong
student-faculty relationships, and attracting talented faculty.
Our ability to raise these
important dollars depends on our ability to get in touch with you! If
you haven’t received a call from Trinity in a while, please send us your
phone number! Our goals of increasing participation and staying
connected with alumni and parents are very important.
Thank you alumni and
parents for taking time to speak with our student callers! Your support, no
matter what size, is appreciated and demonstrates a strong commitment to
Trinity!
Working the Trinity University National Phonathon can be a
great way to gain work experience. Callers learn important communication and
negotiation skills. Shifts are Sunday through Thursday from 6 – 9 pm with
occasional shifts from 2 – 5 pm. Callers must work a minimum of 2 shifts per
week. To apply to become a Phonathon Caller, please fill out a
Phonathon
Caller Application and return it to NH 210 or through campus mail to Box
#49.
