In a very real sense, every significant gift to Trinity University has been planned in some way. When the university uses the terms “planned gift” or “gift planning,” it usually refers to a category of gifts that helps you, the donor, achieve important financial benefits and estate planning goals at the same time making generous gifts to the university.
Many alumni and friends have a strong desire to support Trinity, but they are not sure how they can help. Trinity University’s Planned Giving Office can be your resource for gift planning. In making that special gift, we can help you with everything from a simple bequest in your will, trust, gift annuities that pay you a life income, to gifts of retirement plans, charitable trusts, real estate, appreciated securities, insurance policies and personal property. A misconception is that planned giving is only for the wealthy. The truth is, people of modest means can make a difference through planned giving.
