Job Openings for Economists

 

 

The Department of Economics invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the assistant professor level beginning fall semester 2008.  Primary fields of interest are Public Economics, Labor Economics, Law & Economics and Industrial Organization.  Other desirable fields include History of Thought and Urban Economics.   Outstanding teaching ability and enthusiasm for teaching in a liberal arts environment are essential, as is strong scholarly potential.  Some teaching experience is desirable.      The position requires a recent Ph.D. in economics.  ABDs will be considered, but all requirements for the Ph.D. must be completed by August 2008.
