Admission Information
TRINITY STUDENTS (POST BACCALAUREATES)
Criteria considered in admission include undergraduate GPA, letters of recommendation, command of subject area, previous field experience, disposition for teaching, performance on the GRE (if applicable), and a personal interview. Applications should be submitted to The Council on Teacher Education for review by November 1st or March 1st.
Prior to submitting an application, all applicants are advised to contact Lisa Jasinski, Certification, Assessment and Communications Specialist to discuss program requirements and the application process. Required application materials include:

Completed Trinity University Application for Admission to Graduate Study.

Completed application form for Admission to the Teacher Education Program.

A non-refundable application fee of $30, payable by check to Trinity University.

Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended, submitted in sealed envelopes.

A résumé or autobiographical sketch detailing your educational background and employment experience.

Demonstration of content knowledge mastery, to be determined by a transcript review and/or performance on a standardized test such as the Praxis II or TExES.*

Passing score on the Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA) or evidence of exemption by transcript review or GRE score.*
