The Principals' Center

The Trinity Principals’ Center (TPC), under the direction of a Steering Committee of District Principals, was established to renew, support and sustain school leaders in efforts to help their students become successful learners. TPC convenes area campus leaders from 24 participating school districts and four private schools. The Center’s motto is “The Whole Child, the Whole Principal: Leading with the Heart.”
The Center is grateful for the support of local school districts, the Meadows Foundation and other corporate and civic partners who share our vision.
TPC Components for 2009 - 2010 include
- A National Speaker Series, open to all school leaders in the area.
- Sharing Sessions, open to all school leaders, hosted by principals at different levels in different districts.
- Five inter-district School Leadership Network Cohorts (SLN) of 15-18 principals each who meet monthly to improve their leadership skills for the purpose of increasing student achievement at their campuses.
- One inter-district Assistant Principals’ Cohort of 40 who meet regularly for the purpose of working on self- and group- identified areas of professional growth.
- Communication Workshops to help school leaders communicate more effectively in their work and personal lives.
- Coaching that focuses on building capacity in school leaders so that they, in turn, can build capacity in others.
- Newsletters designed to keep area school leaders informed.
All school leaders are invited to become a part of our inter-district network.
