ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Academic Scholarships: $4000 - $12,000
Trinity academic scholarships include the Murchison, President's and Trustee's scholarships and are awarded only to incoming first-year students. The admission documents that you will file with the university provide all the information that we need to determine your eligibility for a merit-based scholarship.
Even though you may be eligible to compete for more than one Trinity academic scholarship, you can receive only one academic scholarship sponsored by Trinity.
The Murchison, President's, and Trustee's scholarships are based primarily on a student's overall academic profile. Recipients typically rank in the top 20% of their high school class, have earned a 3.5 or higher unweighted GPA and 1260 or higher on the SAT (28 or higher on the ACT), write well, and have contributed to their school and community.
Renewal Information:
Murchison, President's, and Trustee's scholarships are renewable at the awarded amount for up to eight semesters of undergraduate study, provided that the student maintains full-time enrollment (at least 12 credit hours per semester) and an overall Trinity University GPA of 3.0.
Students in their eighth and final term of undergraduate studies, regardless of the number of hours enrolled, if eligible, will receive their academic scholarship amount (per term) up to their cost of tuition.
Awards funded by Trinity are capped at tuition.
