For summer study, financial assistance consists primarily of loans. Need-based grant assistance, however, is available on a limited basis to students who take six or more hours and who demonstrate substantial need. Any federal or state student loan amounts released for summer school will reduce your availability of loan funds for the academic year (Fall and Spring terms). This reduction will not be replaced with gift assistance for the academic year.

In order to receive a timely notification of your summer aid award, we recommend that you submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and any other requested forms by March 15, 2005.
