What to Expect from the Process
First time graduate students enrolled in a program that starts in the summer term are notified of their financial aid offers in late-May, depending on the program start date. Returning graduate students are notified of financial aid offers for the upcoming academic year around mid-June, after all Spring grades are posted, assuming there is no Summer term of enrollment. If you have questions about your financial aid award, please call the Financial Aid Office.
Counselors are here to answer your questions and explain the various components of your financial aid award letter.
Please note that changes in your family’s financial situation will
affect the total of your financial aid award: if your family’s financial circumstances improve, you should expect that your need-based aid will likely decrease; similarly, if finances take a downturn it will generally lead to a greater total financial aid award.
To help us assess your continued eligibility, you are required to submit the FAFSA for each year that you wish to apply for need-based financial aid at Trinity.
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Office of Financial Aid at (210) 999-8315 or financialaid@trinity.edu.
