The Department
of Health Care Administration Alumni Association provides
nearly 1,600 alumni with opportunities to network at
meetings and social events. Additionally, it publishes a
biannual directory and semiannual
newsletters and maintains
a job listing page on the department's website. The
department's strong Alumni Association is a valuable part of
a student's educational experience at Trinity and continues
to be so long after graduation.
The Alumni Association is supportive of current students in
a number of ways. Many alumni serve as Administrative
Residency Preceptors, guest speakers, and informal advisors
to students in the program. The association has endowed the
Paul E. Golliher Scholarship Fund and raises money annually
for student scholarships and support.
Board members of the association, as well as other alumni,
get to know students in the On-campus Program through
various events, such as the alumni dinner at the annual
conference of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
At this dinner, the association recognizes one member each
year with the Leonard A. Duce Award for outstanding
leadership and significant contributions to the field of
health care administration.
