Trinity University's Graduate Program in Health Care
Administration seeks well-qualified and highly
motivated individuals from a broad range of
educational backgrounds for admission into the
program. Academic excellence, apparent aptitude, and
experience are criteria used in the selective
admission process.
The Department of Health
Care Administration requires that all applicants to
the On-campus Program:
1. Have a bachelor's
degree from an accredited college or university. All
undergraduate majors are considered.
2.
Complete a three-credit-hour undergraduate course in
each of the following subjects: Accounting,
Economics, and Statistics. An applicant must
complete these prerequisite courses prior to
entering the program; however, if this requirement
is not met at the time of application, an applicant
must submit a written notice of intention to
complete the courses as described here.
Grades of A or B are expected in the prerequisite
courses. A grade of C is evaluated on an individual
basis. An applicant may submit an acceptable score
from the College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
for any of the prerequisite courses in lieu of
enrolling in the course. Any exceptions to the above
will be considered only by individual petition to
the Admissions Committee.
3. Submit an
aptitude test score from either the Graduate Record
Examination (GRE) or the Graduate Management
Admissions Test (GMAT). |
