The Department of Health Care Administration awards departmental
financial assistance based primarily on academic credentials,
financial need, and available funds. Applications for the awards
below are mailed in the summer (after the class is filled) to
students, who have received full admission. Students requiring
financial assistance are encouraged to discuss their needs with
a faculty member in order to explore viable solutions. Decisions
on all departmental awards are based on entering academic
credentials and financial need. These awards include the
following:
Graduate Assistantships - Graduate Assistantships are
funded by Trinity University. A minimum grade point average of
3.0 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate work is required.
Assistantships require the student to work a fixed number of
hours per week in the department. Assistantships are awarded in
the summer and cover a portion of the first academic school
year's tuition. The amount of this award varies yearly.
Scholarships - The Department of Health Care
Administration has various scholarships it awards to new
students. The amounts of these scholarships are based on
available funds.
