The Elizabeth Huth Coates Library is one of the most extensive private libraries in the Southwest. It contains nearly one million volumes of books and bound periodicals, including vast resources in micro format and a comprehensive health care administration collection. Graduate students may use on-line services, such as library catalogs, electronic databases, Internet guides and search programs and electronic journals. Additionally, specialized research collections are available in San Antonio and, through the interlibrary loan program, to such nearby institutions as the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
