Robin
BBA Marketing

Robin is a native Texan.  She traveled extensively throughout Europe while interning at US Tax & Financial Services, Ltd. in London, England.  While at Texas A&M, she held numerous leadership positions in the Delta Zeta Sorority, American Marketing Association and Order of Omega honor society.  Robin currently volunteers at Cancer Therapy and Research Center in San Antonio.  In her spare time she enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and reading.

Justin
B.A. Psychology

Trinity University

While at Trinity, he was involved with the Trinity Unversity Volunteer Action Committee as the program head for Campus Recycling.  He has experience with developing and implementing psychological research studies, and worked as a counselor with abused and neglected children at a long term children's shelter. He also has interests in the academic study of art history and knowledge of fine wines.

Nicole, RD

Prior to Trinity, Nicole worked extensively as a dietitian in diabetes management in Austin. She is a published author, with a recent article on the clinical and cost outcomes of diabetes education in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association. She has presented her research at national dietetic and diabetes conferences.  She has been invited to perform numerous health segments for Austin television news stations.  Nicole currently serves as the class president.

Jerome

At Texas State, Jerome played running back for the Bobcat Football Team. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Jerome also worked for several hospitals in the Central and South Texas area.  Today, Jerome's interests include politics, intramural sports, and mentoring at-risk youth.  He is also active in his local church.

Adam

Adam graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio in May 2003 with a degree in Business Administration.  He currently serves as the class of 2006’s ACHE Congress Chairperson and has worked, part-time, for the last two and half years as a credit analyst at CrediCard National Bank.  Adam was born in Karachi, Pakistan but was raised in San Antonio, TX, where he has spent most of his life.  He enjoys activities including playing guitar, playing basketball, and reading.

She was born and raised in Beijing, China and graduated from Beijing University with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.  In China she worked as Assistant to the CFO in General Motors, also as the Central Office Manager for Days Inns China.  In 1999 she moved to the US and graduated from St. John’s University in New York City in 2002 with MBA in Finance.  She’s excited to be able to combine her experience in healthcare.

Brett

Brett was born in Galveston, TX, and raised in West Texas. While in Lubbock, he found time to work as a Pharmacy Assistant for the University Medical Center, and as a temporary secretary for a Plastic Surgeon. He also volunteered as a hospital greeter, and worked as a President Select Representative in which he received recognition as the MVP in ’03 & ’04. He enjoys and has extensive experience working with youth. For leisure he likes skiing, traveling, and the outdoors.

Victor is an affiliate member of ACHE.  He volunteers his services as a mentor for Integris Health Community Services.  Victor has over seven years of health care management experience.  He has always enjoyed service type roles, interacting with people, and dealing with information.  Victor can adapt very quickly to changing environments.  He comes from a family of health care clinicians and professionals.

Enrique completed his undergraduate degree in Marketing in December 2002.  Subsequently, he became employed at Frost & Sullivan, an international growth consulting firm.  While at this firm, he became interested in Healthcare consulting and administration. Enrique currently wishes to pursue a career in which he can leverage his business background as well as his fluency in Spanish. He is also a member of ACHE; Service Chair Officer for his class; and member of the Delta Sigma Pi national business fraternity.  

Lee

He was a management Trainee at Pollard Ford in Lubbock, Texas.  Before college, he worked in his family's car dealership in Abilene, Texas.  He was the band manager for "Osiris" (a rock band) while in Lubbock.  He volunteered two summer sessions at Young Life's Windy Gap youth camp in Weaverville, North Carolina.  He is a student associate of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Karla

Karla spent this past summer as an intern in the office of U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions in Washington, DC.  Currently, Karla is working as a Graduate Assistant at Trinity University and is volunteering at the Texas Diabetes Institute in San Antonio.  She serves as a class officer and represents Trinity as the student representative to the American College of Healthcare Executives.  Karla is an alumnus of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and enjoys exercising and traveling

Anthony “Tony”
B.S. Microbiology, Business minor
Texas A&M University

Tony is originally from Kerrville, Texas.  His clinical aspirations led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in Microbiology, but his greater administrative interests brought him to Trinity’s program.  Currently, Tony serves as an assistant administrator in a growing cardiologist practice and volunteers at University Hospital and the Cancer Therapy and Research Center in San Antonio.  He holds memberships in ACHE and MGMA.

Carl

Carl has worked as a Conference Assistant at the Trinity University William Knox Holt Center for the past two years.  While attending Trinity, he held leadership positions as Co-Chair of the Greek Council and Rush Chair of the Kappa Kappa Delta Fraternity.  His plans upon graduation are to pursue a career in hospital administration or health care consulting.  Carl's interests and hobbies include music, camping, and swimming.

Eric

Eric was born and raised in central Texas.  While completing his degree at the University of Texas, Eric gained six years of work experience at a local retail store where he managed the fly-fishing department.  He is married and commutes from Austin to San Antonio to attend classes at Trinity.  Eric loves to fly-fish, be outdoors and is learning to play golf.

Finny

Finny joined the Trinity program after completing two years of internships at Morgan Stanley and UBS Financial services.  During his undergraduate career, he held numerous leadership roles in a variety of organizations such as the Student Ambassadors, and Delta Epsilon Psi, a service fraternity.   Finny currently serves as the class Vice President and Treasurer as well as the webmaster for the Department of Healthcare.  He holds memberships in ACHE and MGMA. 

Sherri
B.S. Agribusiness, Minor Economics

Sherri feels that Healthcare Administration is the right fit for her because it combines her great interest in healthcare and her business background.  She has several years of healthcare experience working in a physician’s office, an ambulatory surgery center, and a for-profit healthcare system.  Sherri loves to travel and spent a semester studying abroad in France.  She also enjoys exercising, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with family and friends.

John P.

John was born in Sherman, Texas and attended Trinity University as an undergraduate where he received a degree in Finance and Economics in May of 2004.  He is a graduate assistant in the program working with Dr. Jody Rogers and is also a class officer serving as the Preceptor Chair.  Outside of school, he works at the Home Depot and plays in a men's hockey league here in town.

Justin

Justin competed on the Southern Nazarene University golf team all four years at school. While there, he chaired an organization named "Hammer’s and Pails," which provided free home repair to those in need and worked with Angel Tree Ministries. Prior to graduation, Justin was selected as the Oklahoma City and Tulsa Sales and Marketing Executives International 2004 Top Marketing Graduate.  He currently serves as the Vice President for the Trinity Graduate Student Association. 

Lindsay
B.S.  Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, Sociology Minor
Trinity University

While at Trinity, Lindsay was an undergraduate Research Assistant for three years with the Chemistry Department and she also worked for the Sociology Department as a Teaching Assistant.  She has been published in the Journal of Chromatography A.  Lindsay was the Vice President and Webmaster of the Chemistry Club and a member of Sigma Theta Tau sorority. She is currently the Secretary of the Graduate Health Care Student Association.

Leah

Leah worked as a summer project intern at Baylor College of Medicine in 2002. In the summer of 2003, she interned at Texas Children's Hospital. Leah is the Trinity Chapter President of MGMA, as well as a student associate of ACHE.  At Baylor University, she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority and Order of Omega Honor Society. She also volunteered over 100 hours at the Waco Family Abuse Center. In her free time, Leah enjoys traveling internationally.

John S. “Kyle"

Kyle is originally from New Braunfels, Texas.  He graduated from Texas A&M University in the spring of 2004 where he was a member of the track and cross country teams for two years.  This past summer he volunteered as a coach for the New Braunfels Track Club.  Initially planning on attending medical school he decided he could have a larger impact on the business side of healthcare.  Kyle has also recently become an ACHE Student Associate.

Bryan "Buzz"

Born in Baltimore, Buzz was raised in Dallas, Texas, where he attended the Episcopal School of Dallas.  Upon graduating high school, Trinity University was the choice of colleges for Buzz where he played, and now coaches, for the Men’s Lacrosse team.  Buzz held many positions while staying active in the Trinity community including President and Captain of the Men’s Lacrosse and intramural program assistant.  He currently serves as President of Trinity's Graduate Student Association.

Sarah, RN
B.S. Nursing (Academic Honors)

Since graduating from the University of Texas, Sarah has been working as a registered nurse for the Baptist Health System in San Antonio, Texas. She practices as an emergency room nurse at Southeast Baptist Hospital. In her spare time Sarah enjoys running, sailing and spending time with her family in Maryland. She is excited to apply her clinical knowledge and skills of nursing to the MHA program at Trinity University.
