Manager, Strategic Operations (075E)
This position is responsible for the management and implementation of the company's Balanced Scorecard initiative. Responsible for ensuring that data is timely, accurate, analyzed and distributed to senior management. This function also maintains the relationships with operational and hospital leadership (region head and hospital "A" teams) as well as many other corporate department heads. Other responsibilities include the support of the company strategic direction across operational efficiency, service strategy and quality related initiatives, i.e. T100, PMI. Conducts analyses and interpretation of operational information (including financial, productivity, quality, efficiency and service metrics) used to provide reports, recommendations and decision support to hospitals and senior management. Manages collection and ensures the accuracy of data; develops effective ways of communicating the information; works with other departments/functions for alignment and consistency of reporting. Oversees balanced scorecard operations and development team. Produces communications materials to help both front line employees and A-teams better understand the balanced scorecard initiative and results. Involvement in related functions that comprise metric improvement and knowledge sharing as needed. Bachelors required. MBA/MHA preferred.
BA, MBA, strong writing and communications skills. Hospital background. Ability to speak publicly, facilitate meetings and coordinate large scale programs; computer proficiency and expertise with Microsoft Office. Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, from CEO to staff level. Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to senior management also required.
