Lakeside Hospital at Bastrop is a medical/surgical, acute care facility located in the fast growing community of Bastrop, Texas, just thirty minutes east of Austin. The hospital, acquired by Blackhawk Healthcare in July 2009, was opened in 2006 and has a 35,000 square foot, privately owned medical office building on the campus. In addition to medical and surgical services, the hospital provides 24-hour emergency services, full service diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services. Candidates for this position must have a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration, possess at least eight years of hospital experience at the senior management level, and have demonstrated experience in growing services provided to the community. Candidates with experience working in the for-profit industry and/or as a CEO would be a plus.
