Eve
M. Duffy, Assistant Professor
Eve Duffy specializes in European history, with a particular focus on the
cultural and social history of modern Germany. Her interest in museums,
technology, and visual culture stems from her dissertation, entitled
Representing Science and Technology: Politics and Display in the Deutches
Museum, 1903-1945. After completing her undergraduate education at
Midwestern State University, she earned her Magister degree from
Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (Munich) in 1993, and then returned to the United
States to complete her Ph.D. at UNC under the direction of Konrad H. Jarausch.
At Chapel Hill, she served as the Student Services Director at the university's
innovative Trans-Atlantic Masters
Program.
