Eve M. Duffy, Assistant Professor

Eve Duffy specializes in European history, with a particular focus on the cultural and social history of modern Germany. Her interest in museums, technology, and visual culture stems from her dissertation, entitled Representing Science and Technology: Politics and Display in the Deutches Museum, 1903-1945.  After completing her undergraduate education at Midwestern State University, she earned her Magister degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (Munich) in 1993, and then returned to the United States to complete her Ph.D. at UNC under the direction of Konrad H. Jarausch. At Chapel Hill, she served as the Student Services Director at the university's innovative Trans-Atlantic Masters Program.
