Norman Parmer, now living in Ohio, is hardly keeping still. He is currently working on three books. Two of them are scholarly books, but one (and Norman expressed special excitement about this one) is a memoir of his experience in the Second World War, based both on a relatively recent visit to various battle grounds in Europe as well as a collection of some 350 letters he sent home from the front and that his mother preserved. Many of Norman's recollections of the war are compelling and we are delighted he wishes to share them with a broader public.
