Benita Blessing (German, 1989) is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, having spent several years as a Fulbright scholar in Berlin.
 

Kevin Taggart '86. Majors: Spanish, French. Post-grad: Kevin has been working with IBM's Lotus software brand in international accounts since 1994. His current customers are headquartered in Switzerland, and he uses French on a daily basis for conference calls and business meetings. In March , 2006, he presented in French at an IBM conference in Montreal, and in June he gave a talk on an IBM product at an IBM customer summit in Paris.


Kristina Ríos de Lumbreras (Spanish, 1983) completed a Ph.D. in Spanish in 2005 and has started two businesses with her husband, Jesús Lumbreras-Calvo: FANDANGO Catering, a boutique catering company (www.fandango-catering.com), and Fandango Properties, a real estate investment firm.  She lives in Houston and is active in historic preservation there.
