Regardless of the target language studied, students will enroll in one of the following courses:

SILP 1301
SILP 1302
SILP 2301
SILP 2302
 		 Beginning Self-Instructional Language I
Beginning Self-Instructional Language II
Intermediate Self-Instructional Language I
Intermediate Self-Instructional Language II

Upon registration, the name of the course to appear on the transcript will be changed to reflect the language studied, for example:

SILP 1301            Beginning Japanese I
SILP 1302            Beginning Japanese II
SILP 2301            Intermediate Japanese I
SILP 2302            Intermediate Japanese II

None of these courses may count toward fulfillment of the university language requirement.
